The Catholic Bishop of Wau Diocese Matthew Remijio Adam has called the believers to open their hearts and reveal all their issues to God in prayers.

Bishop tells the Christians to strengthen their spiritual love of God. He says some faithful are weak in their bodies but pray to God to open a way for them. Bishop Remijio warned the believers not to lie to Jesus Christ because God knows everyone’s heart.

“We are weak in our body yet Jesus is making use of our weakness to strengthen and to be the evangelizer for him, open your heart to Jesus he knows who you are. Don’t lie to Jesus in your prayers. Tell Jesus the truth.”

The religious leader further encourages Christians to participate in the transformation and spreading of the gospel to the community.

Bishop Remijio urges the people to be open during this Lenten season so that Jesus uses His grace to transform those who believed in Christ. The Catholic Bishop was speaking to Voice of Hope Radio in Wau.

“If you disclose yourself to Jesus, Jesus will help you with his grace and make you a good Christian but if you don’t open to Jesus it means you still have the desire to continue in your weakness,” he said.

The Bishop’s remarks came at a time of Christain waiting to celebrate Easter as a joyous holiday because it represents the fulfillment of the prophecies of the Old Testament and the revelation of God’s salvific plan for all of humankind.

In commemorating the Resurrection of Jesus, Easter also celebrates the defeat of death and the hope of salvation.
