Governor of central Equatoria state during the celebration of the consecration and installation of the Bishop of the catholic diocese of Yei called on government and religious leaders to put efforts for realization of durable peace and stability.
While reading the message of the governor to the congregation at Christ the king cathedral on Sunday, central Equatoria state Member of Parliament and SPLM chief whiff Jacob Aligo Lo ladu says issues of insecurity and stability remained major challenging factors affecting the lives of the people of the state.
He urges the religious and government leaders’ efforts in realization of durable peace and stability to all the areas of Yei.
The statement calls for engagement of the sons and daughters of central Equatoria holding arms against the government to opt for dialogue and peaceful means of resolving grievances.
He pledges state’s commitment to support the new bishop and the catholic diocese of Yei where necessary
