Chagai Mading Chagai – Wau
Twenty-seven journalists in Wau of Western Bahr el Ghazal State over the weekend elected the new chairperson of Union of Journalists, Secretary-General and the Treasurer.
The election was organized by UJOSS national office witnessed by acting Minister of Information and the Director-General.
UJOSS national Secretary-General, Majak Daniel, announced that Budgorni Stephen is the new chairperson, Joseph Gabriel is secretary-general and Tuna Marial is a new treasurer.
The new Chairperson Stephen appreciated all Journalists for electing him and pledges for a cooperative work.
The Director-General at the Ministry of Information and communication, David John Jongo, appreciated the journalists for practicing the best democratic election.
He assured the new state UJOSS Office of their support as the state Ministry of information.
The speakers made these remarks to the media after announcement of the election results.
