The Bishop-elect of the Catholic Diocese of Yei says the situation in Yei is still dire since the war broke out in 2016.

Monsignor Alex Lodiong Sakor says the task ahead of him is very much demanding as Yei still bears the brand of the 2016 war with many people in camps and bushes, Radio Bakhita reported.

The Bishop-elect appeals to the faithful to be strong enough in the face of tribulations, saying there is always light at the end of the tunnel.

Members of the Six-GB in the persons of Alex Duku Michael and James Alau Sebasio say they are happy to host one of their real elder brothers, the bishop-elect, Lodiong Sakor.

The speakers made these remarks at the dinner organized in honour of the bishop-elect by the six-GB, a group of Catholic faithful in Juba over the weekend.
