Governor Adil briefs Senators on efforts to address issues affecting state

Governor Emmanuel Adil Anthony on Wednesday addressed the members of the Council of States on government’s efforts on exploring modalities to find an everlasting solution to critical issues confronting the state.

The governor reveals challenges ranging from cattle herders and land grabbers respectively in his state, Radio Easter reported.

His appearance on Wednesday comes following summon by the leadership of Council of States to answer some queries on issues confronting the state.

The session was presided over by the Speaker of the Council of States Deng Deng Akoon.

The governor was campaigned to the August House by State Cabinet Affairs Minister Waya Goodwill Edward, minister of Peace Building Gerald Francis, minister of Information and Communication Anduruga Mabe and Minister of Land, Housing and Public Utilities, Flora Gabriel and other government officials.
