Bakhita Radio listeners start cleaning campaign in Churches

Friends and listeners of Bakhita Radio have on Monday started a cleaning campaign in Churches ahead of Easter celebrations.

The campaign is a gesture aimed to cause impact in the community, Bakhita Radio reported.

Head of Bakhita Radio friends and listeners at St. Joseph Parish in Juba, Susan Lodu Soka, says the campaign will not just end with the cleaning of churches, but it will be extended to visiting the needy people.

Parish Priest of St. Joseph Parish Fr. Prudensio Sule Simon stresses that it is the first time to see a group of believers come up with a cleaning campaign in the churches.

Managing Director of Radio Bakhita Josephine Achiro emphasizes that it is the role of every listener to contribute to activities that brings an impact in the community not just by call-in contributions in the radio.

Bakhita Radio listeners and friends comprise of Christians and Muslims from different communities of South Sudan.
