Armed criminals allegedly from Unity State on Friday killed three people and raided unspecified number of cattle from Yirol East County, Major Elijah Mabor Makuac, Lakes State Police spokesperson confirmed.
He told Good News Radio that they received report of armed youth attacked and raided unspecified number of cattle in Nyigalgu cattel camp of Yirol East County, killing three people on spot and wounding two others.
Major Mabor adds that cattle owners managed to recover some cows while the attackers went away with 82 cattle.
In separate story another incident occurred on Sunday in Aguet Area of Cueibet County when most wanted criminal by name Machuiet open fire on a vehicle killing one person on spot while other victim was wound at Cueibet Hospital.
Elijah advises citizens to remain calm and let the law to take its course.
He asks the communities to cooperate the government in identifying and apprehending of criminals.
The police spokesperson was speaking to Good News Radio on Monday in Rumbek, Lakes State.
