Liturgical committee for the visit of Pope Francis to South Sudan in July 2022 appeals to the faithful to commit themselves in prayers as they prepare to welcome the Holy Father to the country

The appeal came after its first meeting at St. Joseph’s Parish in Juba to discuss liturgical aspects for the visit, Bakhita Radio reported.

Vice Chancellor of the Catholic University of South Sudan and member of the committee, Fr Mathew Pagan, describes the coming of the Pope as a blessing.

Fr Pagan stresses on the liturgical participation of every parish especially those in Juba Archdiocese.

Fr Pagan was speaking on behalf of the liturgical committee for the visit of Pope Francis, headed by His Lordship Stephen Nyodoh Ador, Bishop of Malakal Diocese.
