A Ugandan motorist who was using the wrong way on Monday evening hit one of their top officers, broke his arm and left unconscious, confirms traffic police office in Lakes State.

Acting Traffic police officer in Lakes State Lieutenant Colonel Moses Macuoc Bol says the culprit was arrested, waiting for investigation and will appear in court, Good News Radio reported.

He says the victim is admitted at Rumbek State Hospital nursing his broken arm.

Lieutenant Colonel Macuoc says the incident was intentional because some of the Boda-boda riders do not want to follow traffic rules and regulations.

The officer demands justices for their colleagues who was hit by a Ugandan motorist who was riding in wrong way.

He says their colleague was knock down in line of his duty and it was intentional because the officer alerted the Boda-boda rider who was using wrong way to stop, but never complies and insisted riding toward the officer, resulting to accident.

Lieutenant Colonel Moses Macuoc says from January to March, his office has received several reports of motor accidents and deaths
