CEPO to install radio station in Lainya County for peace messages to citizens

Community Empowerment for Progress Organization or CEPO Human rights officer, Mori Misika, on Tuesday disclosed plans to install an FM Radio station in Lainya County of Central Equatoria State.

He said the aim of installing the radio station is to pass messages of peace since it can cover wide population across the county and its neighbourhood.

While briefing county commissioner Emmanuel Khamis Richard, he said the organization will also conduct series of dialogues in the area.

He mentioned military to military, civilian to civilian and military-civil dialogue to strengthen the relations between the army and civil population.

Meanwhile Commissioner Emmanuel Khamis Richard welcomed the developmental projects to the area.

He advised the organization to recruit the locals on the ground in order to provide employment opportunities to the county citizens.

The speakers made these statements on Tuesday at Lainya County headquarters of Central Equatoria State.
