Bishop elect of the catholic diocese of Yei monsignor Alex Lodiong Sakor has arrived at the diocese on Thursday
Speaking during his reception at Christ the King Cathedral, parish priest Fr Joseph Arike Eugenio expresses gratitude and welcomes the bishop elect to the diocese.
He reveals that the Christians have been expecting to see their new Bishop after his appointment to lead the catholic diocese of Yei.

He appreciates Bishop Erkolano Lodu Tombe and some of the Christians who turned up to welcome bishop elect Monsignor Alex Lodiong.
He called on the Christians to start the preparation for the installation of the bishop elect
Bishop Erkolano Tombe explains that he invited the bishop elect to visit the diocese to discuss and commence preparation for his installation as Bishop.
Meanwhile Monsignor Alex Lodiong Sakor bishop elect of the catholic diocese of Yei thanks bishop Erkolano for serving and leading the catholic diocese of Yei for serving the ministry of God during difficult moments.
Bishop elect monsignor Alex Lodiong Sakor was appointed by Pope Francis on 11th February to succeed Bishop Erkolano Lodu Tombe who presented his retirement letter to the pope three years ago.
It is his first visit to the diocese after his appointment early this month.
He was welcomed by the bishop of the diocese, priests and some Christians at Christ the king cathedral.
