The deputy director for primary and secondary schools in the national ministry of Education and General Instructions advises those owning private and community schools to register to avoid closure.
Omwony Terensio Johnson says all proprietors must bear in their mind that their schools are registered with the national ministry of Education and Instructions.
According to him, to reduce expenditure they can organize the registration form that will be sent to the county education offices for easy access.
He says those schools that will be registered with the national ministry of education shall be issued certificates to avoid future disappointment.
“I want to tell you that it was already announce by the Deputy minister who is responsible with that section that any should which has not registered with the national ministry of Education one day when we come down that school will be closed down, so I would like to talked to our people the proprietors of schools must bear in mind that they have to register all their school in the national ministry of Education to Avoid frustration, so for it not to be expensive we can organized and come with all the form or we sent the form to the county then they go and inspect these schools they write the report and your certificate can be produce”
The director adds that, there are many services for schools for all that can easily be accessible when the school is registered.
He said those that are already registered can begin lobbying through the county education office in order for them to get any available service.
“we have a lot of services, we have what we call the school capitation grant, we have what we calls girls cash transfer, we have EU money incentive for teachers, all these can be given when you are registered when you are known, with these now those who are already registered can begin lobbying through the county education office then they send all these request to the national ministry then we struggle there so that they get assistant”
The official made the remark during the inauguration of Ayaa secondary school in Magwi on Friday.
