The community of Magwi County gathered in a huge number on Friday to witness the inauguration of a new secondary school.
Ayaa Secondary School is a new private school located in Magwi town along Magwi-Torit Road.
Head teacher of Fr. Leopoldo Secondary School Lule Robert Orech during the occasion, said the new secondary school will help a lot in terms of improving the education standard of the country.
He noted that students are very many in the few available secondary schools which needs for more schools to be established in Magwi County.
On the other hand, Onen Phillip Awata, Magwi County Education Director says it is very important for the community to give land for developmental activities.
He acknowledges that Ayaa Secondary has enough land that will support farming activity to benefit the school.
Phillip urges the school authorities to follow proper administration of education to proper in their journey of development.
The director stated that the teachers to be recruited should be oriented on the new South Sudan school syllabus to deliver quality education.
Meanwhile the deputy director of Primary and secondary Education in the National Ministry of Education was the Guest of honour, Omwony Terensio Johnson.
