“When you look at the situation widows are going through its really very difficult more specially sending their children to school I made a research which is really affecting women more specially the widows you find that for a widow to get at least a meal in a day it takes for her really a time and for her even to make money it’s all difficult”, Hawa explains.

Women representative urges the national and Central Equatoria governments to think deeply on the suffering of widows in order to pay school fees for those children.

“The government of the republic of South Sudan more specially Central Equatoria government to think deeply on the suffering women who are widows at least to reverse and pay school fees for those children like this time you find that only nine hundred candidates sat for the primary leaving examinations out of this nine hundred which means children of the widows are also involved they did not sit for the exams because their single mothers cannot pay their school fees”, she says.
