The State Minister of Information and Communication in Eastern Equatoria State advises women to get use to the media in order to excel in the changing world.
Patrick Oting Cyprian advises business community to be equipped with the media in the current situation for their trade to be known globally, Radio Emmanuel reported.
According to him, there are women who are progressing well, but since they are not using the media, they are not known for their progress.
Oting explained that those who are using different media gadgets are able to advertise their business for people from different parts of the world to know.
“The truth we must have women who are progressing very well but because they are not known and no one will know that they are existing but with media it is easy that they are able to advertise what they are having ,I will take for example inline of the business .today if you are doing business if you are not well equip with the media .you will not go anywhere ,no one will know about your business but if you know all the gadgets you will communicate, you will advertise your program ,you will advertise about what you are doing”, the minister explains.
Minister Oting says through the media one can stay in the same place but his or her business is known by many people across the world.
“People will know you, you are sitting in Torit but people in America will know that so and so has a restaurant in a place like this and is the best restaurant lets go and eat there, so has a shop for dress in a place like this the dresses are very good, Mr. so, and so has something like this working like this so through the media people will know where you are and it will also give information about what one is doing outside to people to know”, he notes.
The minister was giving his remark during the opening of a one-day media outlet training for women-led organizations, civil society organization and media houses organized by WAPO in Torit.
