Eastern Equatoria state governor Louis Lobong Lojore is urging citizens to support activities vital for peaceful coexistence and bring young people together.

He said they will continue to encourage actions such as the inter-county tournament so that the young people will be able to excel and explore their talents.

Lobong says this will help the young people go further in the higher competition at the national and international levels.

“We would continue to encourage this kind of exercise so that our young people can be able to excel and explore their talents and from there they would be able to go further to higher competition in Juba and even may be outside. So I am happy and I would encourage the people of Eastern Equatoria to support such activity that bring young people together and it is well for peaceful coexistence about peace and love for all the people of Eastern Equatoria”, he cheers.

The governor mentions that the ongoing tournament will help participants from those counties that are not yet recognized as the local football association to have an opportunity to exercise their talents.

“I am happy that inter-county tournament is going on in Eastern Equatoria, this is very good because this is the only opportunity that all other counties which are not recognized by football federation as the local football association to have an opportunity to exercise themselves and see their talents and I think we have seen those counties that are not been recognized when given an opportunity to play how they are doing or how they are performing they are doing very well”, he elaborates.

Easter Equatoria State Governor made the remarks to the media before his trip to Wau on Thursday.
