The Vicar General of the Catholic Diocese of Yei urges parents to give protection to their children as they look into the current generation below eighteen years of age.
Fr Zachariah Angotowa says they take care of the children at the church to make good effort in order to bring up good parents, Radio Easter reported.
“It looks as our generation especially young boys and girls maybe we can count from the age of twenty below and the age of eighteen they are not listening maybe they have defeated us as parents I don’t know, when we go to the places of funeral children have no discipline atoll how do we do! we take care of our children in the church to make an effort to be good mothers and fathers getting our children with hard love to punish them to understand and some of us youth when we see extraordinary behavior of a child we need to punish him and direct him how to behave”, he advised.
Father Angotowa expresses happiness for visiting Ombachi after five years since the crises.
The Vicar stresses that those who go to Ombachi market should not come back with rumours that the market is busy by deceiving people.
“Those who go to Ombachi market let them not come with rumours to deceive people that the market is busy what is busy there as I was celebrating the mass at Ombachi they were rushing to go to their homes allot of intimidation why people who live without God who do not come to pray in the community they are seen serious, and they want to do this under the tree always they are labeled to be rebels what is that rebel. Somebody living in his place he tried to survive pray to God and dig for himself why are we doing so for ourselves unless there is intention in this nation”, he stresses.
The vicar general was giving his homily during the third mass at Christ the king Cathedral after visiting Ombachi in Yei.
