Catholic Organization for development and peace welcomes new director

The Catholic Organization for Development and Peace or CODEP of the Catholic Diocese of Tombura-Yambio on Monday welcome its new director to take his seat as people resume work of the year 2022.

Tombura-Yambio Diocesan Human Resources Manager, Hozana Valente Woduapai, during his reception, urges all staff members to be committed to their work and respect one another as they begin 2022, Anisa Radio reported.

She calls for team work as they have new director to give him some directions because it is his first time to be on the chair of CODEP.

“I am very grateful to our administration of Catholic Diocese of Tombura-Yambio for calling us back again to our work. Thank you so much our bishop for your love to us, I would like to encourage all of us as we begin this year, 2022 let us be committed to our work, let us try to give respect to one another. I stand here again to encourage us as we begin this year 2022 as we have a new director among us let us try to have team work as we usual do, let us welcome him, let us try to also direct him because this is the first time for him to be the director for CODEP let us try to work together with him” he appeals.

She welcomes all staff members and that some members who are still for their leave will join them once their leave is done.

CODEP new director, Father Charles Mbikoyo thanks the Bishop Eduardo Hiiboro Kussala for having trust in him to serve the people.

He adds that he accepted the appointment to serve the people of Tombura-Yambio and the organization.

“Yes I begin by thanking my Lord Bishop Eduardo Hiiboro Kussala for having put in me the trust to serve as a director of CODEP in the Catholic Diocese of Tombura-Yambio, my Lord Bishop I humbly except the appointment to serve our Diocese and to serve our brothers and sisters in this organization”, Father Mbikoyo admits.

The director appeals to the staff members to work together to render services in humility to realize achievement.

He urges the staff to learn from experiences of success, experience and challenges.

Bishop Hiiboro calls on the team to seek to his guidance all times and work according to his direction so that they can achieve their goals and cooperate to realize the development of the organization.

He advises the staff to support the new director of CODEP for the betterment of the Diocese.

The Bishop calls on all the staff members to always have their Bibles in the office because the Catholic Church organization is where you cannot forget about God.

He also encourages the staff to organize the devotion groups across the Diocese because they are important things for the Church.

The religious leaders made this statement on Monday during the welcoming director of CODEP in Yambio.
