Government to embark on service delivery to citizens, says deputy governor

The Deputy Governor of Western Equatoria says the government is ready to embark on delivering services to its communities in 2022.

Kennedy Gaaniko Baime says it is time for the state government to apply more efforts to deliver services such as clean water points, establishment of learning institutions, Anisa Radio reported.

He discloses plan to have modern health facilities and construction of road network to enable farmers to have access to market.

The deputy governor calls for unity among communities in Western Equatoria State to pave way for peace and harmony.

He discourages youth against following politics of destruction citing that such act hinders development of the State,

“For development to be realized there is a need for peaceful environment”, says Dr. Gaaniko”.

On the hand the deputy governor unveil a plan to construct maternity ward at Sakure Payam in honour of the late governor Samuel Abu John who hailed from the area.

He adds the maternity ward will help to reduce the risk of caesarean deliveries among women and safe infant’s life.

The deputy governor was addressing the faithful at St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Catholic Sakure Parish on Sunday.
