The Catholic bishop of Yei Erkolano Lodu Tombe is urging faithful to have a healthy livingto help nourish children for better future.
He explains that living a peaceful life helps nourish children become future leaders of the country and having a better society, Radio Easter reported.
Bishop Lodu mentioned that future betterment is important for children by living in peace though there are challenges and wars in the country.
“Let us live in a good life so that the children grow in good life and leaders of the country because their future is far. Let us help them though young so that their future becomes better than ours because when children see us in peace though experiencing challenges, they will be strong and be able to handle such situations”, he explains.
The catholic prelate encourages the faithful to continue going through the difficulties and turmoil in the country.
“The country is with a lot of challenges but we are slowly coping with the difficulties. I think that the way of Cross, Jesus Christ is the way to good teaching, mind in all many difficulties. Let us not turn to other bad ways when problems become worse, when family is suffering and when the country is in difficulties”, the Bishop encourages.
The Catholic leader spoke to the congregation on Sunday in Christ the King parish.
