The Association of Member Episcopal Conferences in Eastern Africa or AMECEA, says unemployment situation for young people across Africa, continues to undermine their potential.
In a statement to CRN, AMECEA encourages young people to actively participate in national, regional and continental initiatives to improve employment opportunities.
“We encourage our youths to actively participate in national, regional and continental initiatives towards improving employment opportunities. We implore governments to develop and create opportunities that can empower the youths”, said AMECEA.
It recommends inclusion of youth in social economic activities across African countries.
The statement was made by AMECEA executive board member in Nairobi Kenya on Thursday.
