Over 5,000 people benefit from UNOPS’ cash transfer in Kapoeta East

Over 5,000 people are benefiting from the United Nations’ Office for Project Services or UNOPS cash transfer in Kapoeta East County in Eastern Equatoria State.

Commissioner Abdallah Angelo says the individuals selected are from Katodori, Natinga and Narus Payams.

“They have received one thousand, nine hundred sixty-five South Sudanese Pounds per person”, he said.

“The county is okay, and people are also okay, just our citizens today are receiving their money from UNOP for road working they have been doing, there are three Payams that will benefit from this distribution, they are all 5,500 in number from Katodori, Narus and Natinga Payams”, Commissioner Angelo confirmed. 

The speaker made the statement to Radio Emmanuel in a telephone interview from Kapoeta East County on Thursday.
