The Catholic priest in the Diocese of Torit Fr. Kamilo Afore says Christians are called to unite with Jesus Christ by taking the body of Christ Christians will be one in spirit and faith.
He encourages the believers to be close to Jesus Christ the son of God because he is the head of the Church where Christians use to dwell God the Father.
Fr. Afore urges the faithful to continue giving the names of different Saints to their coming generation, so that they should know who their intercessors were.
“Today we are united, we are in solidarity, we are in communion with all saints as the one body of Christ, Christ the head of his body the Church, we are members and we venerate this millions of intercessors those who intercede for us, yes they are called saints because the church has beautified them or call blessed and there are those not also recognize”, he notes.
The Parish priest tells Christians to behave like the good Saints who sacrifice their lives in transforming one’s mind from bad to good.
“Lord say rejoice and be glad for your reward is great in heaven yes meaning also whatever is accounted on us on this earth will lead us to heaven we have to overcome all the challenges just like the Saints have overcome and they are now enjoying the beautify mission so our prayer is for all those bearing the different names of Saints and that we also invoked them to pray for our broken Families and especially for our nation that is bleeding everyday lot of death, lot of false death, so many other things lack of peace all this beatitudes we pray that the Saints may intersect for our names and for the whole world”, he explains.
