Gunmen have allegedly attacked the solidarity Christian brothers on Friday in Riimenze, an area located at eastern part of Western Equatoria State.

One of the Brothers from Riimenze, Brother Tom, reports that he was feeding dogs when the armed men cut the fence and entered the compound.

He says he was then ordered to sit down and the robbers demanded for property and some money, but did not beat or torture them.

“Unknown gunmen cut the fence and entered the compound when I was feeding the dogs and all of the sudden, I saw some people coming and they ordered me to sit down. They did not beat us they wanted some items and money”, said Brother Tom.

Sister Josephine Murungi says she was ordered to sit down, while the watchman’s hands were tight and one of the robbers searched the rooms.

She says the unknown gunmen collected some, USD and South Sudanese Pounds, laptops, speakers and many other things including food from the farm.

Sister Murungi says the policemen visited the scene the following morning, to carryout investigations.
