Unity state floods internally displaced persons in Lakes state at Nyang and Adiorpayams of Yirol East County are in dire need of humanitarians support.
Addressing the IDPs during Needs assessment commissioner of Yirol East County MalualAchiek welcome the IDPs and assured them of their total safety. Commissioner Achiek reveals that the IDPs have no shelter, food cooking and sleeping materials.
Relief and rehabilitation commission deputy chairperson Adhuk Chol Geu also testifies that IDPs are in critical conditions.
He discloses some IDPS lost their lives on their way to yirol East County while five other supper snake bites and twenty one children unaccompanied.
Adhuk chol says that after the assessment the recommended four major needs that are Food medication shelter and Non Food Item NFI.
He discloses that Caritas International Rumbek Diocese will start immediate food distribution to IDPS.
