Yei County with support from Mercy Corp organization graduated ten students in Yei mainly drawn from South Sudan Directorate of Agriculture and Education, disclosed David Bala, Principal of Yei Crop Training Centre.
He explained that the trainees in three months learned soil conservation, crop production, animal husbandry, agribusiness, agricultural extension, agro forestry and nutrition, Radio Easter reported.

Dudu Amelia, “A” Commissioner for Agriculture in Yei calls for end of importation of food commodities from neighbouring countries by enrolling more students to acquire agricultural skills.
She acknowledges that prices of food items in markets reduced this year compared to previous years.
The official said through Yei Crop Training Centre the county and the whole state would be food secure in 2022.
