The Gemunu community dialogue which concluded on Saturday, calls on politicians to attend dialogues organized by the community
Daniel Lokoroto Arama says the dialogue recommends demarcation on the internal boundaries of Gemunu community.
It asks county authorities to implement the order banning drug abuse in the area and also forbid illegal logging taking place Gemunu area.
The dialogue also reminds the government to ensure use of generated revenue for developing communities.
The dialogue resolved banning of tax collection in checkpoints in Gemunu which burdens the local citizens.
It urges parents to strengthen their responsibilities families to improve the moral behaviours of youth and improve their dressing code which exposes them to sexual gender-based violence.
The dialogue also urges parents in the community to desist from practicing illegal love affairs that leads to misunderstanding and divorce in families.
Reconcile International executive director, Peter Tibi, encourages the community of Gemunu to use the dialogue to change from the bad practices that have been happening in the area.
He calls for peaceful coexistence between civilians and security forces in the area for peace to prevail in the community.
The director calls on traditional leaders to play their role in community police to improve security of the area.
The dialogue that started on Wednesday and organized by Reconcile International resource Centre for Civil Leadership ended on Saturday in Yei River County of Central Equatoria State.
