The commissioner of Yei River County in Central Equatoria State, Aggrey Cyrus Kanyikwa, said the young ones are being used to become the evil of South Sudan.

He explained that they kill fellow youth after taking an oath of being Christian by being baptized.

“The young ones have been used to become the evil of our county [South Sudan], the evil of our state and the evil of this country. Against the will that they have taken oath of being Christians by being baptized and mostly those who have done they are those who are confirmed to be true Christians. Catholics kill Catholics, Anglicans kill Anglicans. Other religious groups kill themselves, who are we killing? We are killing God because this people we kill are in the image of God”, he lamented.

Commissioner Cyrus mentioned it is selfishness and hatred making people to start killing God’s servants.

“It is selfishness, it is hate that accommodates the bitterness in our hearts and we turn our eyes away from God and we start to kill God himself. The sisters, are they our sacrifice? What about our fathers are they our sacrifice? Our uncles, nephews, brothers in-laws, are they our sacrifice? Because this is what is happening”, he stressed.

Aggrey Cyrus reiterated that there are no unknown gunmen or criminals who can hide from God.

“Whether it is unknown gunmen, whether it is a criminal hiding, there is no hiding in the image of God. If you are evil, your evil is a liar you will be exposed. And we went arresting innocent people. Friends kill themselves as friends but do you know that there no unknown or unknown killer in Gods face? They are to face judgment. If somebody claims that he is unknown and he has the right to take somebody’s life, God is not happy with you and you will never live the way you think you will live”, he said.

The Commissioner was giving his condolence message on the killing of two Catholic Nuns on Juba-Nimule high way and the death of Fr. Saverio Dalura Bandi, at Christ the King Cathedral on Sunday.
