Peace is essential for all activities and without it no activity can be implemented, says Patrick Lemuchu, Whittaker Peace Development Initiative students’ representative of the former Peace Building Group.
He urges his fellow colleagues to advocate for human rights and respect the opinion of one another
“When we talk of peace, peace is a prerequisite for all activities at the national level, at state level, at the county level, at the Payam level, Boma level even at the family level. Without peace nothing can happen, without peace no activity can take place. When we talk of peace, peace is nothing other than human rights, a peace builder is a human right advocator, therefore it is important we respect the rights of people with whom we live together”, Lemuchu appeals.
The student calls on everyone to step in and harmonize the existence of disturbance and that when people respect diversities the issue of conflicts will be minimized.
Lemuchu tells his colleagues and students to do Peace Building and ICT because the world is computerized.
‘Without the ICT knowledge it means a person is living without a soul’ he adds
