Government pledges to support youth programs through loans

National Minister of Youth, Sports and Culture Albino Bol promised to boost innovative ideas by giving zero interest loans to young people to have clear feasibility case studies.

He says the government is already working on the youth Enterprise Trust Fund as stipulated in Chapter Four of the Revitalized Peace Agreement, Radio Bakhita reported.

He reveals that the African Development Bank promises to offer seven million US Dollars to the ministry.

Bol points out that the country only lacks peace and security to enable creative youth to engage in developing South Sudan.

He urges the young population to prepare good proposals to acquire loans to develop their ideas

Minister Bol was speaking during the commemoration the International Youth Day in Juba on Thursday.

The day was marked under the theme: “Transforming food systems: youth innovation for human and planetary health”.
