Catholic Bishop of Yei Erkolano Lodu Tombe is appealing to Christians to continually pray for the call for priesthood as the Church needs priests to serve in the ministry of God.
He regrets that Yei has only eleven priests serving in the diocese which is too large to be managed by small number of God’s servants, Radio Easter reported.
The catholic prelate encourages young people to join the seminary and become priests to continue with God’s ministry.
Bishop Lodu appeals to other Catholics Dioceses in South Sudan and Sudan to send priests and missionaries to Yei to serve the growing faith of Christians.
He calls for generosity of the men of God to support the Catholic Diocese of Yei.
The religious leader made the remarks on Sunday during the first mass at Christ the King Cathedral.
