There is no peace without reconciliation among citizens after many years of conflict in the country, says Catholic Bishop of Wau Mathew Remijo Adam.
He points out that reconciliation is the only way forward for peaceful and united South Sudan.
The bishop asks the state authorities and other Church denominations to prioritize reconciliation as they implement the peace agreement.
Bishop Remijo clarifies that by dodging reconciliation, the community will still have wounds in the hearts and that will hinder peaceful coexistence in the country.
The catholic prelate says if Jesus Christ could ask His Father God to forgive us why not us human beings forgive one another to live in peace and integrity.
The Catholic Bishop was speaking during the launch of “South Sudan We Want Program” over Voice of Hope Radio in Wau.
