South Sudan government official urges leaders to repent of their sins

A representative from the national government is appealing to all the leaders of Eastern Equatoria State to repent of what they have been doing wrong to lead the people with good heart.

Josephine Napwone says many politicians are not united hence there is need for them to repent for peaceful co-existence, Radio Emmanuel reports.

“As committed Christian, I think we have to have one a day your Excellency the governor and all the leader including the church leaders I think all of us to come repent in the church and repent to almighty God and the people of Eastern Equatoria State”.

Napwone claims that all the criminal activities happening in the state are created by the politicians.

“What is happening between us or between our community is created by us the politician by inciting our community in doing wrong doings and I want to appeal to everyone here let us practice unity among us and togetherness and we will find out where the weakness and I am appealing this to all these leaders in their respectful level”.

Napwone is appealing to all the leaders to come together and embrace peace by speaking to their communities.

She made the statement during the launch of 100 years of faith at Sts Peter and Paul Cathedral in Torit.
