Bishop Hiiboro appeals to the people to stop that violence because it is not necessary.

The Catholic leader calls on the government of South Sudan to intervene and look into the issue of Tambura County and all communities of the county to stand by one another and resist the evil.

The civil society should make efforts to stop the ongoing violence in Tombura County because the effect of violence is not good it will continue to cause insecurity to people, the destruction of properties and people will remain in poverty, he pleads.

The bishop is organizing to visit the affected county as soon asking all parishes of Tombura-Yambio diocese to pray for those who have lost their beloved ones and total peace to the county.
