The Eastern Equatoria State government on Saturday temporarily lifted the suspension on the UN and other humanitarian agencies operating in Torit County.

Eastern Equatoria State Deputy Governor Mary Nadio Alfonse on Saturday instructed all NGOs and UN agencies to start working the same day Radio Emmanuel reported.

She calls on NGOs to cooperate with the state government committee by giving necessary information for resolving the issue completely.

The suspension was imposed on 2nd June 2021 when some aid workers were allegedly injured by a group of youth in Torit.
