Kapoeta South County commissioner in Eastern Equatoria State tells Radio Emmanuel that two girls were killed and one wounded in Loming Village by armed youth alleged to be from Buya of Budi County.
Angelo Mini says the incident happened on Monday at 3:00 PM when the three girls went to the garden to collect vegetables.
“These girls were three, they went to collect vegetable commonly known in Arabic Gudura, and youth from Buya came finding them collecting that vegetable and they killed two but I don’t know their age, they are three in number one was shot on the leg broken wounded it was yesterday at 3 PM, this is what happened in my county”, he explained.
Commissioner Mini mentions plans for a reconciliation dialogue between the Toposa and Buya communities for peaceful coexistence.
