The Community Empowerment for Progress Organization or CEPO on Tuesday organized a one day dialogue for forty participants on transitional justice in Lakes state.

CEPO State Coordinator Daniel Laat Kon, the forum aimed at creating platform for active involvement of citizens in peace and transitional justice processes in South Sudan, Good News Radio reported.

Laat says the gathering also emphasises on the roles of citizens to push the government to implement the revitalized agreement signed in 2018.

The activist believes that lack of constitutional awareness generates high number of criminal activities among people in the state and country at large.

The revitalized agreement signed in September 2018 provides for three primary transitional justice institutions in the country.
