The Vicar General of Catholic Diocese of Yei is encouraging young people to join the vocation of priesthood.
The call by Fr Zachariah Angotowa came during his silver Jubilee celebration at Christ the King Cathedral, Radio Easter reported.
He said they are aging fast and more young people are needed to serve in the diocese.
Meanwhile Bishop Erkolano Lodu Tombe encourages seminarians not to be discouraged due to constant interruption in the process of their priestly formation.
He acknowledges the resilience of priests in Yei diocese regardless of the war and pandemic.
The church leaders made the remarks during the commemoration of the silver jubilee of Fr. Zachariah Angotowa Sebit in Yei.
