Partners appreciate CRN instrumental role in reaching masses of South Sudan

Partners are praising the great role Catholic Radio Network plays in reaching many people of South Sudan and the Nuba Mountains with peace and other encouraging messages.

Catholic Radio Network is made up of Radio Bakhita in Juba, Easter in Yei, Emmanuel in Torit, Anisa in Yambio, Good News in Rumbek, Don Bosco in Tonj, Voice of Hope in Wau, Voice of Love in Malakal and Voice of Peace in Gidel, Nuba Mountains.

Search for Common Ground Country Director, Kenneth Ganna Conteh, said they use CRN radio stations to reach majority of the people of South Sudan since 2014.

Ganna Conteh plans to reach to the people of Nuba Mountains with its programs.

Norwegian People’s Aid Representative, Joyce Maker, said the managerial meeting is the first of its kind that will open a way forward.

Joyce expressed optimism that the meeting will come out with fruitful resolutions for the development of Catholic Radio Network.

The partners were speaking in Juba, during the opening session of the joint managerial meeting of Catholic Radio Network Board of Governors, stations’ directors and managers.

It was under the theme: “Embracing the present and planning for the future”.
