State officials in Western Bahr el Ghazal state lay foundation stone of Hai Gezira Sports Complex that is expected to host football, basketball, volleyball and handball in Wau.
According to Voice of Hope radio, minister of Culture, Youth and Sport, Mohammed Ali Goni says the project aims at bringing sports facilities near people of Wau South.
Meanwhile minister of Cabinet Affairs, Arkangelo Anyar Anyar congratulates the people of Hai Gezira and urges them to help in the construction and maintenance of the complex.
The state governor Sarah Cleto Hassan Rial calls on residents to own the project and take good care of the facility.
The officials spoke over the weekend at Hai Gezira Sports Complex in Wau.
