The body of the retired Archbishop of Juba is adjourned to arrive in Juba on Saturday instead of Thursday.
South Sudan community will hold a requiem mass for Archbishop Paolino Lukudu Loro at the Apostle of Jesus Shrine in Nairobi, Kenya at 11:00 AM and pay their last respect to him, according to Fr Noel Nyombe Santo, Director of Radio Bakhita, who is the deputy chairperson of information of the reception committee.
He said the body of the late Archbishop is expected to arrive in Juba by Kenyan airways at 3:00 PM.
Archbishop Stephen Ameyu will receive the body of his predecessor at Juba International airport.
He will be joined by other bishops, religious, dignitaries and the faithful of the Archdiocese of Juba, other dioceses and countries.
The body will be accompanied to St Theresa’s Cathedral Kator for prayers and other services. Cardinal Gabriel Zubeir Wako will preside over a requiem mass of retired Archbishop Lukudu on Monday and the body will be laid to rest at the Cathedral Kator.
