‘With our negative actions and attitude, we have led God to go far away from us said Fr. Emmanuel Lodongo Sebit, Secretary-General of the Catholic Diocese of Yei’.
He stressed that fear of approach and putting trust and confidence coming closure to God.
Fr. Lodongo quoted Prophet Isaiah consoling the people of Israel during their difficult and desperate situations in exile just like what South Sudanese are facing now in their country.
Prophet Isaiah consoled and invited the Israelites to come to God and get the best free services from the lord without any pay, the priest reminded Christians.
He also quoted the prophet encouraging the Israelites to put their trust and hope in God to come closure and liberate them from their situations.
The Secretary-General advised the faithful to seek the best ever liberation from God Almighty and Creator.
‘Don’t put your trust efforts and thoughts on these worldly materials, but put them to God because his liberation is an everlasting one’, he encouraged the believers.
The Secretary-General was preaching on Sunday through Radio Easter in Yei.
