Malaria cases on rise in Rumbek state hospital

The administration of Rumbek state hospital says cases of malaria are increasing at the health facilities.
 
Good News Radio quotes the hospital administrator James Matur Rany saying out-patient department is registering high number of malaria cases daily.
 
He urges families to clear grasses and stagnant water around their compounds to avoid breeding places for the mosquitoes.
 
The hospital administrator advises people to sleep under treated mosquito nets in order to prevent malaria.
 
The official made remarks to Good News Radio at Rumbek state hospital on Tuesday.
