Director of Tonj Civil Hospital Dr. Mathiang Agany confirmed to Don Bosco Radio that three cases of snake bite have been registered in the hospital
He explained that snake bites left one person dead and two others on treatment.
Dr Agany revealed that the two patients survived because they reached the hospital on time before the snake poison could escalate further into their body.
He asked citizens to be very careful of snake bites in the whole region during the rainy season.
The hospital director was speaking to Don Bosco Radio in Tonj.
