Yei River County Educational Director says school children are facing numerous challenges due lockdown posed by coronavirus pandemic.
Speaking to radio Easter, Emmanuel Sebit Peter says many students hardly follow the radio learning programs introduced by the ministry of education.
He explains due to idleness some of the students’ ventures into petty businesses like tea stalls and others end up getting pregnant.
During the lockdown the government of South Sudan through Girls Education South Sudan program gave cash transfer to various schools in the country to support school girls.
The director was speaking to Radio Easter on Tuesday in Yei.
