South Sudan Civil Society Forum is concern about mistreatment and abuse of employees in different foreign companies and international organizations across the country.
The pressure group which consist of over 200 civil society activists say it has recorded an increase in employee harassment, mistreatment and abuses in South Sudan.
Executive Director of the Organization for Responsive Governance and a member of the forum Rajab Muhandis say the abuses include demands for sexual favours from female employees and applicants.
Rajab adds that most of the reported cases occur in foreign companies and international organizations.
The Forum is also aware that employers in foreign companies and international organizations take advantage of the laxity by South Sudanese authorities to enforce the country’s laws to protect workers.
