The UN mission’s Bangladesh soldiers are conducting COVD-19 awareness and support program for female inmates in Wau Central Prison.
Colonel Sayed Motar Usin said COVD-19 has made life difficult to everyone and the best way to stay safe is to follow the preventative measures.
He mentioned the Banbatt three is ready to support the people of Wau with their little contribution.
Director General of Wau central prison Joseph Yak extended his gratitude to the Bangladesh for supporting the female prisoner especially breastfeeding mothers.
One of the inmates encouraged her colleagues to observe social distancing especially if they receive visitors.
The contribution by the Bangladesh soldiers includes medicine, food items, clothes and sanitary pads.
