A civil society activist in Western Bhar El Ghazel is urging the state government and the administration of Wau central prison to transfer the cell from town.
Coordinator of Community Empowerment for Progress Organization Stephen Robo Musa says the presence of the central prison in town is very dangerous.
He adds if the prison was far from town when incidences occur it will not cause danger and panic to civilians.
Musa requests civilians to stay calm to avoid being victims of a situation.
The call came after more than 30 prisoners escaped from Wau Central prison on Monday.
