Citizens expressed disappointment because the recently formed state governors are dominated by men.

Radio Easter caller, who identified himself only as Loku, advised women of South Sudan who grieved for equal participation in the government position to wait for democracy to challenge men.

“Unless total disarmament is done to all citizens, women will not be in position to rule because people are not respecting even the police and military men”.

Loku commented that women at national level who got high positions, can deliver services, but insecurity affects them.

Other callers express that the positions of deputy governors, county commissioners and other ministerial positions should be given to the women because it is time to acknowledge women’s role in the country.

Mama Akujo, another caller, wants equal participation of men and women in the government.

The callers were expressing their opinion to Radio Easter on Saturday on live program.
