Covid-19 affects teachers’ job in South Sudan, says Deputy Principal

The Deputy Principal of Don Bosco Secondary School Boston Yogo on Wednesday said outbreak of covid-19 pandemic left many teachers jobless. 
 
There are difficulties incurred due to pandemic disease in the country and around the world, he added, Don Bosco Radio reported.
 
He said all workers are affected because corona virus blocked all activities that improve life.
 
People have lost jobs only missionary schools are the one helping teachers by giving out their salaries, he explained.
 
Parents are affected on other side of school fees because they have paid the money and children have not learned anything due to closure of schools, the Principal regretted.
 
He advised students to be busy in farms, small businesses and go through their notebooks to remind themselves of what they were taught.
